After qualifying for and making his Olympic debut over both backstroke distances at London 2012, he landed his second British Champs Gold in 2013 with a personal best effort in the 100m backstroke. Winning ways also ensued at the 2013 European Short Court Championships with Walker-Hebborn winning Bronze in the 100m back.
Chris Walker-Hebborn’s potential was clear when he starred at the 2008 European Junior Championships in Belgrade, returning with four golds including a 100m and 200m Backstroke double.
The following season he won his first British Champs gold over 200m Backstroke, qualifying for his debut World Championships in Rome where he reached the final and finished ninth.
Walker-Hebborn narrowly missed out on a maiden senior major medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, finishing fourth in the 200m Back, before qualifying for his second World Championships in 2011.

After winning 100m Back bronze at the 2013 European Short Course Championships, Walker-Hebborn enjoyed a golden season in 2014, winning the 50m and 100m Back double at the British Gas Swimming Championships, then claiming the Commonwealth and European titles over 100m Backstroke as well as 50m Back bronze at the Europeans and three relay golds over the two events.
